This position is in the Air Traffic Organization (ATO), Technical Operations, Facilities & Engineering Services, Implementation Services Team, AJW-2130. AJW-2 is responsible for managing and executing programs and projects. The incumbent will serve as an Information Technology Specialist on the Implementation Services Team providing guidance to staff to address complex issues impacting the Aviation/Transportation Industry.

Duties

The candidate will serve as an IT Specialist (Systems Administration) within the Implementation Services Team, AJW-2130. The incumbent performs multiple, varying and complex assignments under the minimal direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced technical specialist. Acts as principal technical specialist or as a project manager or team leader for large work activities.

• Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-I, FG/GS-13 level. This experience is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.Specialized experience is defined as:Experience managing and/or implementing data governance systems to mitigate data quality and security shortfalls with corresponding action plans, policy recommendations, and strategic plans.You should include relevant examples of the specialized experience in your work history.
