About the Position: Serves as a Human Resources Assistant (Military/Office Automation) on the Intake Team, Case Management Division (CMD), Army Review Boards Agency (ARBA).

Duties

Provide general administrative support to include scanning a large volume of case documents. Perform initial review of Applicant issue(s) for Military Correction. Input data into the agency automated case tracking system. Review documents for accuracy. Generate daily report for case assignment. Request and retrieve electronic military records.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • One year trial/probationary period may be required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes utilizing automated systems such as Microsoft Office and/or Personnel Systems; providing administrative support such as preparing correspondence and/or reports; and reviewing personnel documentation for accuracy and completeness. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). OR Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Business Administration. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
