About the Position: Serve as a Policy Writer in HQ, Medical Command, G-3/5/7, Army Recovery Care Program (ARCP) for the development of Army regulations, policies and procedures. Conducts analysis of existing doctrines and policies, writes and coordinates changes, develops new procedures and policies as needed, and gains approval based on decisions made.
Duties
Serves as a Policy Writer in the Synchronization Division, Policy Branch of the ARCP for the development of Army regulations and procedures.
Prepares long- and short- range planning guidance in accordance with broad agency program policies and objectives.
Position requires a strong analytical ability, use of sound judgment, objectivity, ability to work with others, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to develop innovative and feasible solutions.
Requirements
- Able to obtain and maintain Secret Security Clearance
- Up to 10% TDY may be required

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
