You will serve as a Senior Official Investigator for the Inspector General of the Marine Corps (IGMC).
Duties
You will maintain a system for receipt and accountability of information regarding alleged misconduct as received by the IGMC from any source.
You will examine allegations to determine the investigative issues, the scope of a potential investigation, and whether the allegations have sufficient merit to
warrant a formal investigation.
You will identify resources required for the investigation, including tasking to other commands and investigative agencies for assistance.
You will recommend modifications, extensions, and/or adoption of new lines of inquiry as the investigation proceeds.
You will interview Complainants, witnesses, and Subjects of investigations.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
GS-14 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Applying knowledge of investigative principles, techniques, methods, and procedures to conduct evaluations and investigations; Conducting investigations of fraud, waste, abuse, and mismanagement, misconduct, and ethics violations; Analyzing and interpreting information related to identifying and resolving relevant complex issues and complaints or allegations.
GS-13 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Assisting Applying knowledge of investigative principles, techniques, methods, and procedures to conduct evaluations and investigations; Assisting Conducting investigations of fraud, waste, abuse, and mismanagement, misconduct, and ethics violations; Analyzing and interpreting information related to identifying and resolving relevant complex issues and complaints or allegations.
