This position is located at Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Office of Strategy and Transformation, within the Division of Financial Innovation and Transformation. As a Management and Program Analyst, you will provide an advanced level of operational support for standard activities that support government agency and bureau-wide transformation and innovation.
Duties
As a Management and Program Analyst, you will:
Provide an advanced level of support related to the services provided by FIT. This includes all the deliverables included under the enterprise transformation and innovation catalogue of services and subservices provided by FIT.
Develop and execute an advanced level of management and program analysis theories and concepts that address new developments and theories to problems or opportunities that are applicable to the Fiscal Service enterprise and not achievable by conventional or previously accepted methods.
Lead and/or oversee enterprise transformation and innovation projects and ensure appropriate integration of milestones and initiatives. Use project management best practices to deliver timely and accurate work.
Provide key support to the bureau in a wide variety of initiative, administrative and operational related matters that are often confidential and/or controversial in nature.
Conduct broad or specific studies relevant to organizational goals and objectives. Compile data and perform statistical analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and initiatives.

The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Specialized Experience:
For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:
- Conducting research and analysis for new business or technology solutions; AND
- Participating in efforts to move new solutions from idea to production; AND
- Experience providing recommendations concerning improvements or modernizations to current enterprise technologies or services.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.
