Duties
You will assist staff by performing general office work auxiliary to the work of the organization.
You will function as the office clerical or administrative support position in the branch. Provides a variety of secretarial and clerical support functions.
You will prepare and generation of correspondence and/or forms (e.g., letters, memorandums, e-mails, etc.) in accordance with guidelines of the organization.
You will review and update office procedures and analyze need for new procedures, independently determining approach and implementing processes.
You will prepare and make travel arrangements for Branch personnel; review travel documents (e.g., vouchers, compensation time requests, etc.) to ensure accuracy; maintain and update Branch personnel information.
You will provide support for coordination of data calls such as awards and promotions and shall coordinate meetings and prepare presentation materials as needed.
You will train and provide guidance to Group assistants within the Division and will oversee their work to ensure that office procedures are consistently understood and followed.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assist personnel with submission of travel authorizations and/or vouchers to ensure standardization/quality of travel procedures within the organization. Perform work of a general office support nature which encompasses a variety of different duties and responsibilities to include Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Defense Travel System (DTS).

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Perform work of a general office support nature which encompasses a variety of different duties and responsibilities to include Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Defense Travel System (DTS).
