About the Position: This is a Support Services Specialist, GS-0342-05/06 position for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Tulsa District and located in Gore, OK.
This position may be filled at any grade level; the normal line of progression is filled at the GS-05 with promotion potential to the GS-06 or at the full performance of GS-07. Promotion is at the discretion of management.

Duties
Assist Lake Manager with formulation and revision of the annual operating budget for projects.
Research files such as management plans or other documentation to gather data and project needs.
Plan work to include establishing schedules to meet priorities and suspense dates.
Responsible for timekeeping and related duties, using an automated reporting system.
You will provide expertise for procurement of goods, supplies and services at a dual lake operating Project Office(s).
Review specification and contract scopes of work to ensure clarity and biddability.
Requirements

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
GS-05: Have three years of progressively responsible general work experience with one year of that experience equivalent to the GS-04 grade level, which includes experience in an office setting: 1) Consolidating data for reports or budgets; OR 2) Maintaining office files and ordering supplies.
OR
Have successfully completed a full four-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree in any field, from an accredited college or university. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts).
OR
Have the general experience as described in A, but less than three years; and I have some education as described in B, but less than the required four years. I have computed the percentage of the requirements that I meet, and the total is at least 100% (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 36. Then, divide your semester hours of education by 120. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify). (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts).
OR
Have the experience as described in A AND the education in B. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts).
GS-06: Have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal Service which includes performing at least 2 out of 3 of the following duties: 1) Analyzing fund or expenditure requests in an automated system; OR 2) Purchasing supplies or services for an organization; OR 3) Composing administrative correspondence or reports for an organization.
