My HealtheVet Program Coordinator serves as VISN champion, leads teams to support existing and future Veteran communication initiatives, and coordinates national implementation, training, communications, outreach, web health content and support efforts.
Duties
Major duties include but is not limited to:
Develops and presents the non-Telehealth Office of Care programs
Presents informational material to achieve understanding in customers with varying levels of understanding and differing perspectives.
Analyzes efficiency of programs and makes improvements
Produces multi-media materials that effectively develop and maintain a positive outlook on the organizational customers
Designs, develops and improves web-based virtual modalities programs for the Veterans and other external stakeholders
Implements training solutions for technical and professional skills to ensure excellence on Web-based virtual modalities
Representing the VISN at forums, conferences and meetings
Promotes, supports and directs the activities of a cadre of Clinical Champions across the VISN on Web-based virtual modalities
Promotes web-based virtual modalities among clinical and administrative staff, educating and array of stakeholders, identifying/addressing communication workflow challenges, facilitating meetings among providers/triage/public affairs/outreach teams, troubleshooting problems/alternatives, establishing standards/protocol, and reporting best practices
Analyzes assigned projects
Plans, develops, integrates, adopts and implements the nonTelehealth Office of Care Programs
Analyzes and evaluates major clinical, business and operational aspects of substantive, mission-oriented programs
Possess authority for the overall planning, direction and timely execution of the training programs to include development, assignment an higher-level clearance of goals and objectives
Develops, plans and implement training/education for Veterans and other external stakeholders on Web-based virtual modalities
Represents the VISN at forums, conferences and meetings
Promotes, supports and direct the activities of a cadre of Clinical Champions across the VISN on Web-based virtual modalities
Promotes Web-based virtual modalities among clinical and administrative staff, educating and array of stakeholders, identifying/addressing communication workflow challenges, facilitating meeting among providers/triage/public affairs/outreach teams, troubleshooting problems/alternatives, establishing standards/protocols and reporting best practices
Formulates a marketing strategy from research, reports, products and organizational data
Determines requirements for curricula and courses and their relative priority in view of time and resources available, projected schedules, and relationship to the objectives of the total training program
Coordinates and integrates the type and capabilities of instructional methods, materials and media
Conducts annual needs assessment and advocates for non-Telehealth Office of Connected Care program needs and resources
Provides customers with accurate, up to date and consistent information about Web-based virtual modalities
Delivers presentation to all levels of stakeholders and presentations are designed to inform the audience about the features and functionalities available on Web-based virtual modalities
Serves as the facility liaison for eBenefits and the Virtual Lifetime Electronic Records (VLER) programs
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement, 11/26/2024.
Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-12 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-11. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade. You may qualify based on your experience as described below:
Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-11 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to: Responsible for informing/educating facility staff to include providers, clinical support staff, public affairs officers, volunteer service staff about features/functions of Web-based virtual modalities (My HealtheVet, Vets.gov., VAR, Annie, etc).; develops, plans, and implements training/education for Veterans and other external stakeholders (public) on Web-based virtual modalities; Serves as a Secure Messaging liaison and administrator to National My HealtheVet Program Office or Secure Messaging Administrator to facility Secure Messaging teams; Plans, organizes, directs, evaluates, and reports on non-Telehealth Office of Connected Care actions/activities and provides authoritative guidance and technical expertise in establishing network non-Telehealth Office of Connected Care -related standards, goals, protocols, and monitor/report outcomes; Comprehensive knowledge of My HealthVet program and/or Secure Messaging administration; Professional knowledge of Web based virtual modalities; Comprehensive knowledge of a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods of assessment and improvement; Oral and written communication skills to organize and communicate ideas and thoughts effectively through written correspondence and oral presentation; develop materials to convey information in a professional format generally acceptable to the public.

Note: A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities. Applicants wishing to receive credit for such experience must indicate clearly the nature of their duties and responsibilities in each position and the number of hours a week spent in such employment.
Physical Requirements: The work is primarily sedentary. Some work may require periods of walking, sanding and bending.
