Duties

You will test, troubleshoot, service, repair, and replace a variety of electronic alarms, including integrated digital fire alarms, carbon monoxide systems, chlorine monitoring systems, and sewage lift station control systems. You will prepare own system diagrams and schematics in the absence of technical materials to troubleshoot a conglomeration of parts and components. You will read, interpret, and apply a variety of formula; e.g., resonant frequency formula, variations thereof, inductance and capacitance resistance formula. You will perform electrical work necessary in construction, maintenance, and repair of building facilities. You will install, maintain, and repair electric power and lighting lines and cables associated with circuits. You will install transformers, converters, circuit breakers, and similar equipment where required. You will plan and lay out routing and arrangement of systems, circuits, controls and equipment using building plans, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.
