This job opportunity is for an AIRCRAFT PNEUDRAULIC SYSTEMS MECHANIC, position description D0097000, within the 177TH MXS of the New Jersey Air National Guard. This vacancy announcement is a Title 32, Excepted Service position. This technician position serves as a Pneudraulic Svstem Mechanic within a fuel systems shop responsible for inspection, repair and maintenance of aircraft fuel cells, water injection, entidetonant (ADI), and inflight refueling systems.

Qualifications

General Experience: Experience or training which demonstrates your knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical principles; knowledge of troubleshooting procedures used to isolate malfunctions in aircraft pneudraulic systems; and ability to use technical manuals, equipment specifications, and test calibration procedures in performing the work. Specialized Experience: Must at least 18 months of specialized experience which demonstrates basic electrical and mechanical principles. Fabricating fuel, oil, and vacuum hose lines Servicing, maintaining, disassembling assembling, repairing, and testing hydraulic and pneumatic systems Diagnosing trouble and determining remedies Mechanic repairs using hand tools and test equipment Demonstrating the ability to interpret technical manuals, specifications and publications
