This position is located at the Cass Lake, Minnesota Service Unit. The incumbent of this position performs a variety of financial management duties, utilizing financial principles and procedures in carrying out assignments.

Duties
Identifies and analyzes changes in financial policies, regulations, constraints, objectives and available funds that affect the accomplishment of organizational objectives.
Directly supervises and plans work to be accomplished by subordinates and prepares schedules for completion of work.
Analyzes financial program data to develop annual multi-year budget estimates for assigned programs and activities.
Researches and compiles information and data for a variety of regular and special reports. Gathers and prepares special financial materials as requested by senior staff.
Works to improve or develop financial management systems and related policies, goals and objectives for programs. This may include working together to devise systems, methods and procedures to meet particular budget and fiscal problems/solutions.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Identifying and analyzing changes in financial policies, regulations, constraints, objectives and available funds. Analyzing financial program data to develop annual budget estimates. Reviewing financial justifications data and discusses desired changes in financial requirements with managers OR a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree.
