Duties
You will create, copy, edit, calculate, revise, retrieve, store, and print a wide range of documents in final form from handwritten drafts (e.g., correspondence, reports, graphs, calendars, statistics, mailing labels, tables, etc.).
You will identify and select appropriate software types to meet office needs based on an understanding of the functional capabilities and limitations of each, and the similarities, differences and integrations of the software types.
You will use a limited range of functions and features of desktop publishing software to create a variety of documents and reports such as briefs, presentation briefings, preliminary text layout, etc.
You will prepare varied documents such as newsletters, brochures, flyers, special reports, briefings, manuals, etc.
You will be responsible for correct spelling, grammar, capitalization, punctuation, and proper format.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.

Qualifications
GS-07: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-06) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing clerical support by preparing and verifying documentation, maintaining office records and compiling information for reports, utilizing operational maintenance software, and utilizing computer programs to prepare correspondence, reports, and technical documents.
GS-06: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-05) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing clerical support by preparing and verifying documentation, maintaining office records and compiling information for reports, utilizing operational maintenance software, and utilizing computer programs to prepare correspondence, reports, and technical documents.
