You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (CUSTSPT) in the DEPUTY FOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.

Duties

You will assist and support the business development of the department to create an innovation ecosystem where the Department of Defense (DOD), the state and country governments, private industry, academia, and others can collaborate. You will provide technical support, planning, business development, interfaces with VIPs, assists in the coordination the Indo-Pacific Department's Technical Capabilities projects, and assists connecting subject matter experts. You will interface broadly with technical staff, project managers/leads, stakeholders, and customers. You will help provide strategic input for technical capabilities areas and help connect personnel and project resources when required. You will perform research on Automated Data Processing and Information Technology work that requires the use of computer systems and software to efficiently and accurately process, organize, and manage data.

Qualifications

Your resume must reflect one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined: 1. In addition to my experience demonstrating the four competencies above, I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-12 or pay band NO-04 in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector Researching, analysis, systems engineering, design, development, acquisition, experimentation, testing, evaluation, installation, operations support; assisting risk and/or vulnerability assessments by identifying customer requirements; facilitating the delivery of defense systems and/or applying engineering concepts to complex systems of systems architectures; providing technical and project management oversight, providing resolution to problems, and providing supervision and/or leadership to engineers, technicians, and administrative specialists..
