You will serve as a TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the PMW 790- TACTICAL SHORE & EXPEDITIONARY INTEGRATION PROGRAM OFFICE of PEO C4I AND SPACE. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the pay band, including higher responsibility positions. Based on the responsibilities of this position (Tier 3), the total adjusted salary may be capped equivalent to GS 14 Step 7 (currently $167,012)

Duties

You will serve as the Shore Tactical Assured Command and Control (STACC) APM in support of the PMW 790 Tactical Shore and Expeditionary Integration program office within PEO C4I. You will lead a geographically-dispersed team to manage scope, cost, schedule, and performance of more than $70M per year for the design, deployment, and fleet support for Shore Tactical Assured Command and Control (STACC). You will demonstrate experience with requirements definition and prioritization working with external and internal stakeholders. You will be responsible for spend plan development, and Procurement (Hardware and Software) planning, execution, and management. You will apply risk management tools and techniques to manage cost, schedule and performance for assigned program(s), evaluate performance outcomes and make recommendations for improvement. You will effectively lead, integrate and coordinate disparate functional groups and develop a cohesive team capable of successfully handling complex problems encountered, and continually monitor program execution. You will ensure compliance with Department of Defense and Department of Navy directives, PEO policy and other relevant guidance and coordinate preparation of program acquisition/integration documentation. You will effectively communicate program information across the PEO and other relevant organizations to facilitate leveraging opportunities. You will lead coordination across industry and Department of Defense activities, Program Management Offices, to ensure program acquisition strategy meet user capability requirements and are executable with acceptable risk. This position requires a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain up to Top Secret/SCI.

  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or DP-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience leading a large, geographically-dispersed team to manage scope, cost, schedule, and performance of more than $70M per year for the design, deployment, and fleet support for the Shore Tactical Assured Command and Control (STACC) Program. Experience with requirements definition and prioritization working with external and internal stakeholders, spend plan development, and Procurement (Hardware & Software) planning, execution, and management.
