Ensure supplies and materials are distributed to all areas serviced by Logistics. Lead three or more GS-2005 employees in the distribution area to provide wards, clinics, operating rooms. secondary storage locations, and other hospital facilities with supplies and material including, but not limited to, sterile and non-sterile medical supplies, instrument sets, and equipment at the Orlando VA Medical Center, Orlando, FL.

Duties

Major duties include but are not limited to: Distribute and balance the workload among employees in accordance with established workflow or job specialization and assure timely accomplishment of assigned workload. Monitor status and progress of work, make day to day adjustments in accordance with established priorities. Estimate and report on expected time of completion of work. Monitor expiration dates, rotate stock to limit outdates and remove items from use as required by outdates. Perform daily inventory of primary and secondary inventory points. Support wall to wall inventories. Store items in accordance with established guidelines. Work Schedule: M-F 3:00 p.m.-11:00p.m. Virtual: This is not a virtual position. To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 11/26/2024. Driver's License: A current, valid state-issued Driver's License is required for this position. Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-06 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-05. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement.
