This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.
It is in the Professional Work Category at the Expert Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA JOINT FORCE HEADQUARTERS - DODIN.
Duties
Serves as a Command's program manager for the Joint Cyber Training and Certification Standards (JCT and CS) program, which outlines the requirements for cyber workforce development for USCYBERCOM and DoD Service-level cyberspace components.
Leads and/or contributes to broad-based technical analyses and definition of the Command’s cyber training objectives and requirements.
Develops and establishes activities necessary for the process of storage and retrieval analyzes information derived from training needs to determine the current state of training assets in support of the cyber mission.
Employs the Joint Training Information Management System (JTIMS) to document training objectives and requirements, as well as make them available for use by other members of the DoD cyber community.
Leads survey/evaluation of training courses/products to evaluate continued relevance to the Command’s and cyberspace program.

- This is a Term Appointment position Not to Exceed three (3) years.
Qualifications

Basic Requirements:
Experience must be IT related; the experience may be demonstrated by paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training (for example, IT certification), as appropriate.

OR
Undergraduate or Graduate Education: Degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks.
AND
Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-13, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience developing, planning, coordinating, and evaluating cybersecurity, training, or education content, methods, and techniques based on instructional needs and requirements.
