Duties

Review proposals for facility development projects that include landscaping, playgrounds, sports fields and Sustainment, Renovation and Modernization projects for schools. Manage comprehensive facility operations program to include facility maintenance, custodial services and grounds maintenance. Develop a budget for facility operations projects and service contracts. Monitor facility operations projects, custodial services and grounds maintenance. Evaluate the condition of all facility components, buildings, and ongoing repairs. Utilize existing maintenance management software to track facility maintenance. Assign workloads to employees. Prepares briefings and collects data using Microsoft Power Point, Excel, Word and other software applications. Performs employee feedback and completes annual appraisals. Acts as a Contracting Officers Representative for Facilities Contracts. Writes PWS, estimates and monitors contractor performance.

Requirements

  • Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Requirement.

  • Direct deposit of pay is required.
  • One year trial or probationary period may be required.
  • Appointment subject to a suitability/fitness determination, as determined by a background investigation.
  • One-year supervisory probation period may be required.
  • This position requires a Tier 1 (T1) investigation
