About the Position: The incumbent will be assigned to the 404th Army Field Support Brigade, Army Field Support Battalion - Charleston at Goose Creek, South Carolina.

Duties

Utilize a broad and extensive knowledge of support requirements relating to a logistics facility performing supply, maintenance, acquisition, port operations, quality assurance, and packaging functions. Interpret and apply regulations and directives in the identification and resolution of complex management and technical problems relating to installation and mission support provided to the Army's Prepositioned Afloat program. Plan and assign work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work. Develop performance standards and evaluate work performance of subordinates. Make changes in work methods, organization of work, or assignment of functions to subordinate units or positions to improve workflow and services rendered. Participate with the personnel office in conducting position and/or personnel management surveys. Take action in support of broad-based management programs as equal employment opportunity, position management, internal controls, and safety.
