You will serve as a Program Manager in the Marine Corps Systems Command of MARCORSYSCOM.

Duties

You will provide direction to the team leaders and supporting staff. You will lead and coach subordinate employees and teams. You will serve as the recognized authority and expert consultant to the PM/PEO/Commander/Executive Director at Department of Navy Headquarters. You will be responsible for overall program definition, organization, and direction including the development of long and short-range plans. You will develop and present convincing oral/written presentation to all levels of government and industry management.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
• This is a supervisory position.
• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Serving as a senior advisor or technical expert overseeing planning, direction, OR success of major programs, systems development efforts, OR research and technology initiatives.
