About the Position: The incumbent serves as Supply Technician in the Headquarters Section of the United States Army Air Ambulance Detachment located at the Yakima Training Center, Washington.
Duties
Serves as Supply Technician in the Headquarters Section of the United States Army Air Ambulance Detachment.
Perform as the organization’s logistics manager and monitor the property accountability functions.
Administer accountability and property balances in lower-level departments of the organization.
Conduct routine, recurring and special inventories, research and reconciliation to keep the custodial balance of general and specialized supply commodities accurate and the at the authorization level.
Proficient in inventory and storage management, as well as computer ordering process.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid state driver's license.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a license to operator forklift trucks capable of lifting loads weighing 10,000 pounds or less.
- Requires an appropriate Security Clearance.
- May be expose to assets with fresh CARC paint.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes Supply 1. Maintain accountability for supplies and/or equipment; 2. Prepare supply related paperwork; 3. Coordinate supply related paperwork; and 4. Utilize automated computer systems to perform supply and purchasing functions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-04).

Education: Four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of education beyond two years (total semester hours minus 60) by 60. Add the two percentages.
