About the Position: This position is under the supervision of GROUND COMBAT SYSTEMS R&S DIR ARTILLERY BRADLEY & CARRIER DIV BRADLEY & OMVR BRCH. Duties

Develop and defend long range plans, programs, and budgets for assigned weapon systems. Provide research for long-term and special projects, analysis, interpretation and implementation of policies and guidelines relative to Major Item management. Develop and implement plans and studies for material acquisition, material change management, distribution, and related inventory management activity on assigned systems. Develop and implement new concepts in automated systems within a specific logistical business supply area to include: logistics data management, depot maintenance, major items distribution/redistribution and Propositioned Stocks or War Reserve. Brief recommendations for material requirements and/or planning to senior leadership. Develop concisely written messages, briefings and/or papers to inform leadership and/or influence decisions.

Requirements

• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
