About the Position: The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) develops and delivers responsive aviation, missile and calibration materiel readiness to the U.S. Army. The position is located within US Army Aviation and Missile Command, Center AVIATION Directorate, however, multiple vacancies maybe filled using this announcement.

Duties

Monitor materiel readiness posture of assigned systems and assures positive action is taken to maintain weapon system readiness. Monitor and coordinate material management aspects of assigned systems and/or similar equipment to ensure logistics support. Receive problems and proposals from the functional directorates or the field users including foreign country representatives which require resolution.

Requirements

• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) requirement up to 25% of the time.
• Must obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
• This is an Acquisition Position and requires Foundational Level I certification in Acquisition Career Field L - Life Cycle Logistics within 36 months of entry on duty.
