You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, SUPSHIP Bath Annex of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER NORFOLK.
Duties
You will assist in reviews of Integrated Logistics System (ILS) planning documents.
You will integrate all applicable ILS elements and contractor support to ensure an optimum cost-effective support capability.
You will conduct studies to investigate problem areas and resolve discrepancies.
You will monitor the progress of ILS planning by quantitative or qualitative analysis.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized Logistics Management Specialist experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-07 or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating knowledge and skill applying policies, procedures and techniques to perform assignments concerning application Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) directives, regulations, laws, and practices. Specific work experience must include the following: 1) Assist with the review of contracts, technical specifications and provisioning documents to ensure Integrated Logistics Support program requirements are met in accordance with established guidance; 2) Provide working knowledge of automated logistics systems to coordinate supply/program support and resolve support issues effectively; and 3) Monitor the progress of logistics plans, making necessary corrective determinations if deviations are detected.
