This position serves as a Management and Program Analyst for the Office of Airports (ARP), San Francisco (SFO) and Los Angeles (LAX) Airports District Office (ADO). Incumbent provides administrative and analytical work that directly supports the ARP mission and operational objectives. The work contributes to the improvement of productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency in program operations and administrative support activities within the organization.

Duties

FV-F Duties: Performs basic but progressively more difficult assignments under the close direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced professional. Applies basic knowledge of routine procedures and techniques involved in carrying out the work of the organization and applies these procedures and practices within the framework of established guidelines to accomplish assignments. Typical assignments may include, gathering general data/information from various sources, conducting limited research, applying standardized policies and procedures, and working with higher level professionals to perform day-to-day operations. Utilizes automated program analysis systems, tools and software programs to support planning, controlling and analysis of projects and programs.

• Successful completion of a security investigation will be required.

Qualifications

Experience requirement for the FV-F level is: You should demonstrate in your application any experience gained in administrative, professional, technical, investigative, or other responsible work. Demonstrating experience in substantive and relevant secretarial, clerical, or other responsible work may be qualifying as long as it provided evidence of the knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) necessary to perform the duties of the position to be filled. Experience of a general clerical nature (typing, filing, routine procedural processing, maintaining records, or other nonspecialized tasks) is not creditable. Education substitution for the F band: Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree, gained from an accredited college or university. Education substitution for the G-band: Ph. D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related. Equivalent combinations of education and experience can be used to meet the one year of experience requirement. In order to meet qualification requirements, at the time the higher-level education was obtained, the entire institution, or the applicable curriculum, must have been appropriately accredited by an accrediting organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Education cannot be substituted for experience at the FV-H band level.
