About the Position: The incumbent will be assigned to the 406th Army Field Support Brigade, Logistics Readiness Center, Transportation Division, at Fort Moore, Georgia.
Duties
Serves as the Traffic Manager for Transportation Traffic Management Program, LRC, 406th Army Field Support Brigade.
Maintains awareness of the relationship between traffic management and other agency programs.
Evaluates traffic management programs, systems and analyzes operating conditions to recommend improvements.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent may be required to travel up to 5% of the time.
- Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Incumbent is required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450.
- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Managing a transportation or traffic program (2) Operating a transportation system to provide common carrier types of services to shippers, and (3) Conducting reports of the traffic management operating methods or procedures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
