You will serve as a Program Manager (Tactical Jamming Systems Portfolio Manager) in the Airborne Electronic Attack Systems Division, Spectrum Warfare Department of Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) in Crane, Indiana.
Duties
You will ensure that the mission is accomplished as well as current and future readiness is maximized.
You will execute technical efforts for the Programs ALQ-249 NGJ-MB, ALQ-99, NGJ-LB, JATO, NGJ-MBX, and other PMA-234 associated Electronic Warfare (EW) programs.
You will develop a capability roadmap for all Electronic Warfare (EW) systems supported at NSWC Crane and associated within the PMA-234 portfolio.
You will minimize Total Cost of Ownership of systems throughout the aircraft/product lifecycle.
You will interface with prime contractors, Fleet Support Teams, and Program Office Team members to ensure program maintainability and supportability goals are fully supported.
You will be required to utilize knowledge of the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2) and maintenance practices including the operational and intermediate environments which naval aviation systems are exposed.
You will interpret and enforce adherence to NAVAIR program policies and requirements.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-05 pay band (GS-14/15 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing strategic leadership (e.g., direction and assistance) for Program Management, In-Service Engineering and Logistics that integrate safety and readiness while reducing total ownership costs. Examples of Qualifying Experience may include demonstrated knowledge of Fleet Support Team (FST) functions; Project Planning and Management to include WBS Live/Ops Center/PPT, Risk Management, and Task Planning; analyzing to proactively measure and manage project development; developing, establishing, and maintaining Integrated Product Support strategies, process and procedures across interrelated systems and platforms associated with PMA-234; providing strategic leadership in the development of program costs and schedules as part of budgetary submissions utilized directly by a program office.
