You will serve as a FORCE INSPECTOR GENERAL in the Force Inspector General (IG) Office of COMMANDER SUBMARINE FORCE PACIFIC.
Duties
You will maintain and manage a Force hotline complaint system in accordance with SECNAVINST 5370.5 series DON Hotline Program to ingest and act on complaints made directly to the Submarine Force U.S. Pacific Fleet (SUBPAC) Inspector General (IG).
You will maintain and manage a Force hotline complaint system in accordance with SECNAVINST 5370.5 series DON Hotline Program to ingest and act on complaints pertaining to SUBPAC transferred from other IG offices.
You will coordinates with COMSUBPAC Judge Advocate General (JAG) and SUBPAC subordinate JAGs to ensure cases are dispositioned in accordance with relevant laws, rules, and regulations.
You will ensure the confidentiality and/or anonymity of complainants, subjects, witnessed, and sources as required by law and DoD and Navy policy.
You will review and extract critical information from each case, to include specific allegations for comparison to applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and enters relevant information into the NAVINSGEN case management system.
You will conduct trend analysis of hotline cases and provides statistical analysis as requested to NAVINSGEN and COMPACFLT IG.
You will prepare Reports of Inquiry, Reports of Investigation, briefings, executive summaries, and information papers on selected cases for the Commander, NAVINSGEN and/or senior officials as required.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time
- This position requires you have or able to attain IG certifications and credentials within 90 days of employment through attendance at a formal school or certification programs.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing a full range of Inspector General oversight and compliance services by planning, coordinating, administering, analyzing and evaluating assessment actions and providing recommendations to senior management regarding Department of Defense programs to combat fraud, waste, abuse and mismanagement that contribute to the effectiveness and economy of a wide range of agency activities.
