Duties

Be a successful applicant. Watch this 5 minute video to learn how to create a federal resume. Maintain, troubleshoot and service hand and power tools associated with trail maintenance. Perform intermediate to advanced trail maintenance duties on backcountry trails. Perform intermediate to advanced carpentry and masonry skills using dimensional lumber, rough-cut lumber and native materials. Operate vehicles and trailers under 26k pounds and maintain a valid Montana Class C with hazardous material (HAZMAT) (or an equivalent from another state) Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors: Ability to do the work of the position without more than normal supervision (SCREEN OUT) Class C with HAZMAT endorsement CDL (SCREEN OUT) Technical Practices Ability to interpret instructions, specifications, etc Ability to use and maintain tools and equipment Knowledge of Materials If your knowledge and ability in the SCREEN OUT factor above is not sufficient, you will receive no further consideration.
