You will serve as MK 48 Gun Weapon System (GWS) In-Service Manager (Administrative/Technical Specialist) in the 2T Ammo Commodity Management Office, Systems Integration Department of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV.
This is not a high-grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13, Step 10 (currently $153,354).
Duties
You will oversee acquisition, production, integration, and test and evaluation efforts across the enterprise.
You will support deployed systems over the course of their life cycle.
You will develop plans and procedures to extend the life of the system and/or decrease the life cycle sustainment costs through emerging ideas and concepts for sustainment.
You will make presentations to large and small audiences.
You will estimate projects based upon established specifications and Program Office needs.
You will plan and coordinate support to be provided by internal and external customers across a broad spectrum of government employees, active-duty military, other government organizations, and industry.
You will optimize use of available resources, project future workload, and actively seek ways to increase program efficiency.
You will prepare financial budgets, track expenditures vs. work accomplishments, use Milestone charts/Microsoft Project to plan and execute projects, and issue reports to sponsors.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band (GS-11/12 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing integrated logistics support (e.g., planning, coordinating, managing, directing) to ensure acquisition, production, integration, in-service or test and evaluation for assigned programs.
