This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), United States Coast Guard (USCG), Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, and Intelligence Service Center (C5ISC), Infrastructure Services Division (ISD) located in Kearneysville, West Virginia.

You will serve as an IT Cyber Spec (PLCYPLN-INFOSEC) and be responsible for managing information technology projects.

Qualifications

To qualify at the GS-13 grade level, applicants must have at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Specialized experience must include the following: Overseeing and performing duties associated with Project/Program Acquisition Lifecycle Framework (ALF) involving cost, schedule and performance. Facilitating open communications with multiple IT project stakeholders, developing relationships, working across regional boundaries and department lines. Leading integrated teams of Government/ Contractor Staff, Engineers and technicians, resolving complex IT challenges to accomplish program/project scope and goals. Developing requirements for contract performance work statements and statements of objectives for systems, network, performance, or cybersecurity. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. In addition to meeting the specialized experience requirement, you must also have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. NOTE: Education cannot be substituted for experience at this grade level.
