About the Position: You will serve as the Chief, Plans and Operations Division, Directorate of Operations, at a medium installation within Installation Management Command (IMCOM).
Duties
Guides, directs, and evaluates the work of individuals and subordinate elements in the execution of their programs and responsibilities.
Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates; sets priorities and prepares schedules for completion of work.
Supervises the 24-hour Command IOC/EOC mission by maintaining a multitude of emergency/continuity equipment.
Reviews and approves all OPORDs, TASKORDs, and emergency reporting to include SIRs, SITREPS, OPREPS, etc.
Requirements

- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
- This position is subject to a one-year supervisory probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements.
- This position has been designated "Mission Essential". In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Providing oversight on the formulation, coordination, and execution of operational, emergency/disaster plans and policies for a large installation; 2) Present briefings on force modernization plans to garrison command group and others on a need-to-know basis. 3) Participates in joint exercises, pre-planning, tests, critiques and after-action reports for the garrison commander and higher headquarters.
