You will serve as a Supervisory Facilities Support Contracts Manager in the Facilities Maintenance and Sustainment Branch, Facilities Engineering and Acquisition Division, Naval Support Activity, Mechanicsburg - Detachment, Naval Support Activity - Philadelphia, PA, of Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Mid-Atlantic.

Duties

You will evaluate progress and completion of work to assure adequacy, accuracy, and compliance with local policy. You will consult with personnel to obtain or exchange information to accomplish work-related activities. You will conduct risk analysis of new or current systems or processes to identify problems and recommend solutions. You will prepare reports or written assessments to provide project objectives, requirements, scope, or status updates.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Providing EEO program support and ensuring all equal opportunities for advancement within the incumbent's area of accountability; 2) Providing Technical engineering guidance and technical assistance on construction and maintenance projects for competitively awarded contracts and the Government Service Provider; 3) Reviewing and assisting various clients in defining their requirements while participating in client meetings for planning and acquisition strategy; 4) Monitoring compliance to assure technical soundness, adequacy and efficiency in administration and operations of facilities service and construction contracts and adherence to the Performance Work Statement; 5) Performing price analysis of proposed work and participating in contract negotiations and the inspection of ongoing and completed facility service and construction work, and 6) Must possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills and demonstrate good working knowledge of government computer programs to include Microsoft software.
