About the Position: Serves as a Project Manager, responsible for overall management, control, coordination and execution of assigned projects, the majority of which involve vertical construction. Implements corporate decisions, guidance, laws, regulations and policy in the development of the project and intermediate products in support of the project.

Duties

Coordinate the activities of multiple Project Delivery Teams engaged in Life Cycle Project Management of individual projects to ensure program objectives are met. Integrate customer requirements, and District resources into a comprehensive management plan that is fully coordinated with all contributing agencies and organizations including various functional elements within the District. Control and manages project budgets and schedules from a programmatic standpoint, assuring that District commitments to customers are met. Negotiate and prepares contract documentation for new task orders and modifications for construction, design-build and Architect-Engineer services. Represent the District and briefs project/program status at conferences with customers and at monthly District Project Review Boards.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license to operate motor vehicles in accomplishing assigned duties.
  • Incumbent is required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, (5CFR Part 2634, Subpart I Confidential Financial Disclosure Reports) upon entering the position and annually.
  • The incumbent is required to obtain and maintain security clearance up to TS/SCI Polygraph or lower depending on the security clearance requirement of the supported program and/or project.
  • This position is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.
