Duties

Receives test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment for cyclic calibration and repair. Research appropriate technical bulletins pertaining to designated equipment to identify calibration requirements and level of calibration or repair. Review data to correct errors, update status and expedite urgent job requests. Collect and compile information/data to prepare various reports on work status and progress. Prepare various graphs, and charts that track the status and progress of work including showing delinquencies. Schedule equipment, assign priorities and coordinate with supervisor to make major changes in schedules.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Incumbent may be required to lift moderately heavy objects up to 35 pounds.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period.
  • This position is designated as moderate risk involving Public Trust. Appointment to this position is subject to a background investigation including a credit check to determine suitability for Federal employment and/or the position.
