Duties
Serves as Chief, Interagency and International Support (IIS) Project Management Branch, having delegated authority and responsibility from the DDPM to supervise and manage the District's role in executing IIS Programs throughout their life-cycles.
Supervises all operations for assigned programs and project management staff, which provide a broad range of life-cycle project management and technical services, in planning, design, acquisition, and construction management of assigned missions.
Oversees the District's role in planning, design, acquisition and construction of projects in coordination with other organizational chiefs, other functional areas, District, Division, HQUSACE, and other Federal and State agencies.
Proactively develops and executes a regional engagement plan to support the VA Minor Program for Charleston District.
Incumbent serves as the SAD Commander’s primary POC for executing the VA Minor (under $30M) workload in the SAD AOR. This work supports over a dozen VA hospitals across Southeast US with complex construction projects.

Qualifications
Term Appointment NTE - Position may be filled as a Term Appointment NTE 5 years. Term appointments may be extended beyond of six (6) years, up to eight (8) years. With DoD approval, Term appointments may be extended beyond eight (8) years.
Current permanent Federal employees (to include permanent Army employees) applying for a Term appointment will be appointed/converted into a Term appointment with no statutory return rights back to a permanent position.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes Advising leadership with supportive guidance on Reimbursable SRM and IIS programs; establishing annual, multi-year, and other long-range work plans to coordinate the staff work assignments, to support significant local and regional program responses of multimillion dollars annually; experience in and an overall knowledge of Program and Project Management doctrine. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13 or above).
