You will serve as a PROGRAM ASSISTANT on the Staff of The Commander of TRAWING ONE.

Duties

You will provide management support to the NAPP Analyst in the area of data collection and analysis. You will be responsible for collection of TRAWING aircraft, simulator, manning and training data, and entry into various training data basis and workbooks, with specific emphasis on the validity and accuracy of the data. You will assist senior analysts in review of data collection processes and review methods of data collection for improvements when inconsistencies are discovered. You will be responsible for ensuring accuracy of student Estimated Completion Dates (ECDs) in the NIPDR data base. You will ensure estimated completion dates (ECDs) accurately reflect the status of graduates and completers throughout all phases of Intermediate and Advanced jet training and ECD’s are accurately recorded in the NIPDR database. You will ensure students completing a phase of training are transferred to the follow-on phase and assigned to the proper class. You will review flight hours expended, and production achieved on a monthly basis. You will use knowledge of training production metrics for each stage of jet training, requests explanations from squadron student control departments when data is submitted and issues are identified, such as requirements not being met. You will analyze previous month’s data to ensure accuracy. You will review methods of data collection for improvements when inconsistencies are discovered.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing clerical duties to support program analysis that include entering, gathering, editing, and extracting data and information from automated systems and/or databases.
