You will serve as a MAINTENANCE MECHANIC SUPERVISOR in the Public Works Department of NAVFAC NORTHWEST.
Duties
You will have knowledge and experience involving facilities management, operations, systems, equipment, and repair functions.
You will have knowledge of supervisory and leadership principles; ability to communicate orally and in writing; and have the ability to use a personal computer and associated software and peripherals.
You will have knowledge and ability to supervise and provide leadership to subordinate employees.
You will have the ability to redirect individual workers and resources to accomplish unanticipated work such as Emergency and Urgent Service Requests and Work Orders, Ship Support activities, Engineering and Contractors support (e.g. work orders).

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.

- Operation of other equipment may require additional licensing, e.g., forklift, cranes.
- Call back, scheduled/unscheduled, and emergency overtime in addition to short notice shift changes are regular requirements for this position.
- May be assigned to any basic work week or shift hours, including alternating shifts.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
