Provides administrative support, advice, and recommendations to the Director, Deputy Director, Executive Officer, and staff members on matters relative to the coordination, integration, and synchronization of staff actions, events, general administrative functions, and activities affecting and involving the organization.
Duties
Reviews and analyzes the content on an extensive variety of issues, some relevant to Department of the Army (DA) policy and programs and others which are addressed to the Secretary of Defense, SA, USA, and CSA.
Provides direct support for the control and processing of incoming correspondence through various methods.
Reviews and analyzes the content on an extensive variety of issues.
Identifies items of importance for the personal attention or immediate handling of the HQDA Principal Officials based on the subject matter or the originator and handles them expeditiously.
Prepares, coordinates, and executes special projects and protocol functions for the organization to include promotion and award ceremonies.
Operates a variety of automated systems, with various software programs, to aide in the classification, retention, storage, retrieval and automated staff action suspense control system of the Army's records.
Requirements

In order to qualify, you must meet the Experience requirements described below. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which includes performing a wide variety of administrative support functions to include reviewing and controlling correspondence, records, forms, reports and publications, and maintaining and monitoring travel/purchase requests, supplies, and government credit card account. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
