About the Position: Serves as the designated Logistic & Technical Modernization Representative, supporting New Equipment Fieldings (NET), New Equipment Training (NEF), system upgrades or modifications, and training.
Duties
Conducts site surveys, plans, and schedules missions on behalf of Program Management offices.
Monitors Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) fielding operations and associated training activities.
Serves as the designated Logistics Support Manager.
Works as the logistics manager for Team C5ISR involved with worldwide support to C5ISR systems and other electronics logistics sustainment support.
Reviews and analyzes a variety of logistics resource management related budgets and equipment procurement.
Uses expert knowledge of the latest development in computer and information systems hardware and the interrelationships between information system components (e.g., ADP, telecommunications, etc.).
Requirements

- This position requires a Special Sensitive/High Risk, Sensitive Compartmented Information. Intelligence Community Directive 704 security clearance or access for the duration of employment.

- Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.

Specialized experience in the Federal service which includes 1) Implementing regulatory guidance to provide product support for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and/or Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems, in various areas such as planning, budget, and sustainment strategies to enable materiel readiness; 2) Coordinate with other Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) teams to plan and execute materiel fielding and property transfers adhering to audit readiness processes; and, 3) Manage new equipment training to the gaining command in areas such as planning, budget, coordinating and execution. 4) Develop training Support Packages (TSP) in accordance with regulations to meet new equipment training timelines.
