You will serve as a SAFETY AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH MANAGER of NVSUPPACTMID SOUTH.
Duties
You will conduct a wide range of safety inspections to assure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and agency standards.
You will conduct follow up inspections to determine that all unsafe conditions have been corrected.
You will coordinate the team's safety assignments (e.g., inspections, mishap investigations, meetings, on the job training) to meet program requirements and match employee skills with the need of the assignment.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Develops, plans, and executes the installation SOH program for personnel, squadrons, dependents, contractors, and visitors to include supported tenant commands; 2) Halting any operation that endangers personnel, property on board installation; 3) Develops and revises installation instructions, rules, and regulations applicable to industrial explosives safety, waterfront, and ground aviation operations to ensure SOH requirements are current and in accordance with higher command.
