About the Position: This position is located in San Antonio, Texas, with the Defense Health Agency.

Duties

Meet with Program Managers/Leaders regarding the availability of funding needed within their programs. Maintain liaison with officials to provide updates. Allocate fund(s) based on an analysis of activities such as budget estimates, historical expenditures, projected workload, and approved funding. Perform accounting functions to ensure the ability to execute available appropriations before expiration. Analyze historical cost data execution to determine prior year trends. Utilize the automated resource planning system to prepare reports on the status of funds. Monitor expenditures for accuracy.

Requirements

• A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.

OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
