You will serve as an ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN (BIOMEDICAL) within NAVMEDREADLOGCMD.

Duties

You will investigate, remediate and documents Repairable Medical Device (RMD) recalls and safety alerts within established timeframes. You will lead and manage installation or upgrade projects for medical devices and systems. This includes but is not limited to pre-implementation planning and coordination with end users, vendors, and other onsite support staff. You will maintain quality control checks of Biomedical operations to ensure that all requirements, tests, and certifications have been performed and properly documented.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Supporting a broad range of biomedical equipment through the equipment lifecycle. 2. Personally, performs preventive maintenance, and repairs on all medical/dental/scientific equipment, surgical instruments, and related material. 3. Performing preventive maintenance and repairs will include but not limited to checking voltage tolerances, amperage, power supplies, wave shape, frequency resonance, deflection time, decay curve, gain, balance, and signal sensitivity against prescribed tolerances and specifications using test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment, as well as reviewing all associated paperwork and documents.
