Duties

Provide information updates, including information concerning policies, guidance and items of interest to assist leadership in communicating with their subordinates. Review operations in order to appraise the effectiveness of policies and programs. Review material prepared within organization for dissemination to the public for security, accuracy, propriety, and conformance to policy. Evaluate the effectiveness of information programs, and advise on changes or needs for additional coverage. Write articles, new releases, and other feature stories as necessary for publication in various media. Produce multimedia content adobe applications, i.e., such as adobe suite, adobe in design, adobe premiere, and adobe Photoshop. Capture and edit digital and photographic and video using office equipment. Use video camera to film subjects and actions in support of new packages; edit videos using software to create news packages; write scripts to support video and audio news packages. Answer queries from the media, including items of a sensitive nature and those that may be subject to misunderstanding if not properly explained, or which may draw adverse public reaction.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
