This position is part of the Publication Information and Sales, Government Publishing Office in Washington, District of Columbia.
Duties
Allocates space, budget and personnel resources within the divison.
Monitors measure of effectiveness for the processing functions, ensuring all client services order transactions are processed within time frame goals.
Develops and implements long range plans for the Distribution Division with consideration given to optimum space utilization and efficiencies in order processing and agency client usage.
Performs liaison duties with other outside organizations, including Public and Private.
Attends and/or conducts periodic formal and informal meetings with management and staff.
Requirements

Qualifications
To qualify for the Supervisory Distribution Facilities Specialist, PG -2030-13, you must meet the following requirements:
Specialized experience at the next lower grade level PG-12 or GS-12 level includes: includes performing work that involves the following comprehensive knowledge and experience:- Planning, directing and coordinating daily operations of an order fulfillment and retail sales operation for national and international distribution;- Possessing and relaying comprehensive knowledge of Client Services Distribution Division' operations to Include online ordering; customer service, quality improvement, teambuilding,coaching and management principles.- Managing a Publication & Information Sales (P&IS) Distribution, and supervising document control and policies, procedures; work practicesand detailed knowledge of facility and building management methods, principles and practices.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Substitution of education in lieu of specialized experience may not be used for this grade level.
