This position is located in the Office of Civil Rights (TCR) within the Federal Transit Administration (FTA). The incumbent will serve as a Senior Liaison reporting the Deputy Associate Administrator and will lead strategic projects, including communication and coordination efforts, for TCR throughout FTA and the Department to enhance TCR’s ability to effectively shape, align, and communicate civil rights policy and priorities and promote recipient compliance with federal requirements.

Qualifications
To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience qualifications for the grade at which you are requesting consideration.To qualify for the Grade 15, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equal or equivalent to the GS-14, it must include:
Experience managing projects and applying project management principles and practices.
Experience developing, leading, and managing communications efforts.

Project Management - Knowledge of the principles, methods, or tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, and managing projects and resources, including monitoring and inspecting costs, work, and contractor performance.

Strategic Thinking - Formulates effective strategies consistent with the business and competitive strategy of the organization in a global economy. Examines policy issues and strategic planning with a long-term perspective. Determines objectives and sets priorities; anticipates potential threats or opportunities.
Writing - Recognizes or uses correct English grammar, punctuation, and spelling; communicates information (for example, facts, ideas, or messages) in a succinct and organized manner; produces written information, which may include technical material, that is appropriate for the intended audience.
