Duties

Works with the functional Director(s) to establish performance data/criteria in support of CMO, Region, and/or Agency performance measures and initiatives. Collaborates with Engineering and Manufacturing Group (and other Functional Groups as required) to identify and assess the CMO's workload and analyze resources required to adequately support that workload. Performs contract review to identify contractual technical requirements and develop required tasks for the execution of the surveillance plans. Identifies frequency and intensity of production surveillance required to perform on assigned contracts. Supports Full Time Employee (FTE) evaluation by reviewing DAI data, CMO workload, and performance data prior to submitting recommendations/input. Provides technical interpretation of new and revised regulations, policies and other releases.

Qualifications

To qualify for an Industrial Specialist, your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Monitoring the delivery performance and production management systems of established manufacturing processes. Scheduling the technical analysis of manufacturing processes. Evaluating and establishing risk analysis of the performance in delivering products, services, and systems of contract schedule within cost as well as experience reviewing reports for accuracy.

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
