About the position: This position will be assigned to the 9 FSS, Marketing, Beale AFB, CA.
This position is regular part-time, guaranteed 20 hours per week and receives benefits.
Must be able to life and carry up to 30 pounds and have the physical dexterity to move promotional trailers and stand for long periods of time.
Duties
Conducts Commercial Sponsorship and Commercial Advertising for the 9th FSS / Beale AFB. Compiles a list of viable annual events and programs to seek commercial sponsorship. Develops solicitation packets and solicits sponsorship from local, regional, national, and international sponsors. Negotiates mutually beneficial sponsorship terms and executes all supporting documents. Coordinates with the installation's Staff Judge Advocate to ensure terms of each sponsorship agreement follows all procedural guidance, regulations, and policies. Ensures compliance with agreements. Attends events and serves as point of contact for sponsors at events. Prepares thank you letters and after action reports. Stays current on administration of Commercial Sponsorship and Advertising program. Develops pricing structure for paid advertisements and tracks payments of advertising to ensure proper accountability and credit.

Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- This is a drug testing designated position.
- This position has a weightlifting requirement which requires satisfactory completion of a pre-employment physical.
- This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations.

Qualifying Experience:
Must have experience that demonstrates general knowledge of marketing/commercial sponsorship and its principles and practices.

Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
