To qualify for the Electrician, WG-2805-10, applicants must meet the following screen-out job element to be considered for this position: Job Element #1: Ability To Do the Work Of The Position Without More Than Normal Supervision (Screen-out Element) to be considered eligible for the position.
Applicants will be evaluated on their ability to perform the duties of the position rather than the length of experience. Eligibility will be determined by the relevance, scope, and quality of all experience and training, regardless of where or how acquired. To meet the screen-out examples of the duties includes:
Skill in troubleshooting and repairing equipment, in marine (maritime), industrial, institutional, or commercial settings, providing the full range of electrical support in the areas of installation, diagnosis, repairing of electrical wiring, pulling of wires, and all other preventative maintenance. Have repaired/troubleshoot/diagnosis marine (maritime) generators(genset) and Transformers,

NOTE: Education cannot be substituted for experience at this grade level.
