You will serve as a Management Analyst in the Training and Education Command of TRAINING AND EDUCATION COMMAND.

Duties
You will collaborate with HROs on the management of all civilian personnel actions.
You will conduct, review, and analyze a variety of personnel management programs and advises on their practical application.
You will analyze, recommend and advise on a variety of personnel management services essential to the direction and efficient operation of the organization.
You will research, analyze, develop, write, and coordinate command policy dealing with organizational resource functions.
You will ensure compliance with civilian pay policies.
You will develop potential solutions and briefs them to management for decision.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- Generally, current federal employees applying for GS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. This requirement is called time-in-grade. Time-in-grade requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
GS-12:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing oversight, advice and support for an agency's civilian personnel management, payroll and other organizational administrative matters; and developing and implementing administrative policies and procedures to support a missions objectives.
GS-11:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing criteria to measure and predict the attainment of organizational goals; AND assisting in the development and implementation of administrative policies/procedures to support a missions objectives.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
GS-11:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
