About the Position: This position is located at Evans Army Community Hospital (EACH), Department of Education & Training at Fort Carson, Colorado.

Duties

Develop, plan, implement and coordinate didactic presentation and hands-on training. Responsible for planning, developing, coordinating and giving cohesive direction to, and evaluating various facets of the facility overall education and training in medical training programs. Assist in managing mock code evaluation program. Coordinates simulation training.

Requirements

• This position requires incumbent to obtain and maintain a positive National Agency Background Check (NACI).
• Must possess (or obtain within 90 days of hire) and maintain a current basic life support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), instructor certifications.
• All licensure/certification fees, as well as completion of mandatory continuing education units (CEUS) required for re-licensure/re-certifcation, are the responsibility of the incumbent.
• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.

OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree with a major study in education or a subject area related to the position to be filled, such as, Education, Human Resources or Business Administration. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
